Medic is an Intelligence perk in Fallout 4.

Effects[]

Taking ranks of this perk increases the portion of max Hit Points restored by using stimpaks and portion of Radiation damage removed by using RadAway. Higher ranks increase both portions more, up to 100%, as well as increasing the rate of restoration.

Notes[]

  • Rank 1 is a prerequisite for building a clinic-type store in allied settlements (in addition to rank 2 of Local Leader).
  • Rank 2 unlocks an alternative option to help Andre Michaud in Far Harbor in the Far Harbor add-on.
  • Stimpaks and RadAway take 5 seconds to heal by default, which is reduced to 3 seconds with Rank 4 of Medic. These numbers are changed on Survival to be 50s and 30s respectively. Stimpaks thus heal 208% (Just above twice) as quickly at rank 4 as compared to at rank 3.
  • The medicine bobblehead's effect stacks multiplicatively with Medic's effect, increasing healing per second and overall healing by 10% (for example, the 40% healing at Medic rank 1 becomes 44% with the bobblehead.) It does not affect the duration. Astoundingly Awesome Tales #12 increases the amount of radiation removal by a similar multiplicative 5%, increasing the maximum from 1000 rads to 1050 rads removed.
