A mailbox or mail dropbox is a type of container in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics[]

The term mailbox refers to the many bent and rusted postal storage vessels littering the wasteland. The mail dropbox is blue, metal, and stands on four raised legs, while the standard mailbox is small, rust-brown, and sits on a pole. These were used by the pre-War postal service but now hold miscellaneous items. They contain minor loot and skill magazines.

Locations[]

Sixty-four mailboxes and twenty-two mail dropboxes are found throughout the wasteland, generally near houses.
