A dumpster is a storage container in Fallout: New Vegas.

Random junk is usually found inside of these containers, or even nothing at all. Largely, dumpsters are just an added aesthetic in the post-apocalypse and don't often provide anything useful, besides being safe containers in the open. On infrequent occasions, one might find caps, ammunition, or pre-War money.

- Four in the two Nellis hangars.
- Six outside Vault 3.
- Three around Primm.
- Three at the Aerotech Office Park.
- Three at Black Mountain.
- Three south of Sunset Sarsaparilla headquarters, two more further south.
- Two against the Crimson Caravan main office.
- Two inside Freeside, near Freeside's north gate.
- Two at the back of the Bison Steve Hotel.
- Two to the northwest of the south cistern.
- Two near the Goodsprings General Store.
- Two around Monte Carlo Suites.
- Two outside the Dino Dee-lite Motel.
- Two at the Gibson scrap yard.
