Jacob "Jake" Raymor is an artist who worked at Bethesda Softworks on Fallout 76 as a user interface artist.
Work on the Fallout series[]
Raymor's responsibilities on Fallout 76 included design layouts, user flows, visual direction and animation for the user interface.[1]
He also created the concept for the sheepsquatch club and staff, which were later modeled by Connor McCampbell for the Wild Appalachia update.[2] Other concept art that Raymor made included the propeller power armor jet pack and Fasnacht Day masks.[3]
Raymor handled the art direction for the legendary perks system, introduced in One Wasteland For All, and made several pieces of UI art for the Atomic Shop. He also created signage for Big Fred's BBQ Shack, Tyler County Dirt Track, Big Al's Tattoo Parlor and Van Lowe Taxidermy, as well as chalkboard art assets. Raymor also made a custom child's handwriting font for in-game notes, using his own kid's handwriting.[3] Additionally, Raymor created the cards for game mode selection as seen in the main menu, including the Fallout Worlds variants.[4]
He worked on S.P.E.C.I.A.L. loadouts and C.A.M.P. slots, features introduced in the Locked & Loaded update.[1] Raymor was also the lead UI/UX designer on Fallout 76 seasons, and produced much of the associated art for seasons 1-7 and 9, alongside Ashley Mosley and Don Etgeton. He and his team also contributed to the writing and recording of the Pirate Radio radio plays.[5]
Raymor left Bethesda and the Fallout 76 team in October 2022 and joined Infinity Ward Austin.
