Ida Welch was a registered nurse living in Beckley prior to the Great War who was approved for residency in Vault 51.[1]
Background[]
Ida's daughter, Mills, was told by her brother Stevie that Ida had been selected to live in Vault 51.[2] Mills hacked into Vault-Tec University's vault registry and discovered the vault's true purpose. She was going to tell Ida not to accept the invitation, but her message was never delivered or she ran out of time before the Great War struck.[3] Ida was admitted into Vault 51 and was killed in the fighting after the ZAX 1.3c armed the residents in 2078.[4]
