The United States National Park Service was a pre-War government agency responsible for the operation of America's many national parks.
Background[]
Before the war, the National Park Service had a presence in Zion Canyon, Acadia National Park, and Kanawha National Park. In 2066, the organization celebrated its 150th anniversary. It commemorated the occasion with a custom seal, which can be found in posters across Zion National Park.[3]

The National Park Service is mentioned in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts, the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor, and Fallout 76.
Behind the scenes[]
In the canceled Fallout 3 project Van Buren, the National Park Service would have been mentioned through the Mesa Verde, Grand Canyon, and Black Canyon National Parks.
