Regional Director Blake was a supervisor for the National Park Service in Appalachia.
Background[]
Blake sent multiple warnings to the North Mountain lookout concerning the behavior of the tower's staff. They frequently engaged in disruptive Halloween celebrations and threw furniture off of the balcony. Because they ignored their radio, Blake threatened the tower employees with immediate removal from their posts. However, the Great War struck before they could take down the decorations.[1]
