Vault 17 is a mentioned-only location in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background[]
Located somewhere on the West Coast of North America, little is known about this Vault, including whether it had a social experiment incorporated into it, other than Lily Bowen and her grandchildren, Becky and Jimmy, were among the previous inhabitants.
Lily's family lived in the Vault until Lily was around 75 years old, at which time the Vault was raided by the Master's Unity, who captured and kidnapped Lily and many other dwellers. Lily herself was exposed to the Forced Evolutionary Virus and transformed into a nightkin, while the fates of the other dwellers are left unspecified.[1]

Vault 17 is mentioned only in Fallout: New Vegas. Concept art for Fallout 4 included a male Vault Dweller wearing a "17" jumpsuit modified with armor.
