This unnamed Enclave lieutenant[1] was the commanding officer of a unit of Enclave remnants in the Commonwealth in 2287.
Background[]
The lieutenant ordered his entire unit to leave the base where they were hiding to embark on a mission to retrieve a suit of X-02 power armor stolen by a deserter known as the Black Devil. His unit had some success in locating the Black Devil's hideout, where the armor was stored, after he, Sgt. Hodges, and Officer Bradley interrogated a wastelander named Connie who allegedly had information on the Black Devil.[2]
However, the lieutenant became infuriated after discovering that they were unable to break through the hideout's security lock, ordering one group of officers to investigate relay tower 0MC-810 and leaving the remaining officers to "absorb his rage." Sgt. Hodges noted that the lieutenant had recently become extremely volatile, believing that the "contaminated" wasteland air had had negative effects on the lieutenant's health.[1] Eventually, Sgt. Hodges and a group of the remnants returned to the Devil's hideout, but the lieutenant was not amongst their number.
