Dennis was an employee of the Blue Ridge Caravan Company.
Background[]
Several members of the Blue Ridge Caravan Company were sent south to re-establish trade routes in the Shenandoah region and set up camp at Naked Creek. The group quickly realized that conditions were dangerous in the area, and believed something (later revealed to be a Blue Devil)[1] was following them.[2] On day 6, it was reported that two of the caravanners, including Judy and Joel, had disappeared in the night, and a brahmin was shredded.[3]
Seeing this, Dennis panicked and tried to flee from the camp, making a break for it and running away. The other members of the group later found Dennis dead, further up the road. He was buried on an island in the nearby creek.[3]
