Caroni is a former Gunner in the Glowing Sea in 2287.
Background[]
Caroni is a Gunner from Vault 95 who was assigned to Sarge's squad, along with fellow Gunners Crane and Lieutenant Lazanski, and an unnamed fourth member. The team's mission was to destroy a vertibird flying over the Glowing Sea and retrieve its cargo. Unfortunately for everyone else involved, Caroni continually gave away the squad's position, resulting in constant ambushes. While they successfully brought down the Vertibird in spite of this, Caroni managed to reach the wreckage first. He then got his hands on the VTOL's cargo; a Tesla cannon. While the squad told him to put it down to avoid further giving away their position, he decided now was the time to show his true colors. After killing three members of his former squad, including Feldt, with the cannon, he retreated to Skylanes Flight 1665, where he can be found by the Sole Survivor.[1]
