Carl was an associate of Greg Harris prior to the Great War.
Background[]
Carl helped manage operations at Gauley Mine in Greg's absence.[1] He was told that there would not be a pay raise, but it would "look good on a resume though." He was also warned that some of his coworkers had a tendency to "'forget' to put things back" so he should double check everything before leaving.[2] He also helped Greg "procure" some sentry bot treads for use in Greg's pursuit of developing automated mine equipment in order to save his business.[3]
