At the moment London scores poorly on almost every 'happy city index' out there. Talk to me aims to change this, transforming London from one of the least friendly cities in the world to one of the most friendly.

It may sound like a grand aim, but it's really just a domino effect. If one simple conversation can inspire you, imagine how many lives you could positively impact in turn.

The heart of the Talk to me vision is simple: we want people to feel able to talk to each…

One of our solutions is the Talk to me badge, which shows others you're up for a chat. Other ways include stunts, events and public art which help to get people talking

Why is it that although we can see that many top executives aren’t acting strategically, no one is willing to call attention to the problem? Why is it only when it comes to the do or die moments when an organisation faces a major challenge to its traditional way of doing business, that we are honest that the current leadership isn’t up to the task? It doesn't have to be like that. This article outlines how you can grow and retain the leaders organisations need to have access to when their organisation is challenged and they need to transform. Which today is more often than not.

Our study of 2,431 FS Managers found that:
Financial services managers are over twice as likely to behave unethically when they feel anxious when competing with colleagues
Rule enforcement systems have the unintended consequence of leading to the behaviour they and we are trying to avoid
Generating excitement about winning, rather than a fear of losing, is the key to innovative and ethical behaviour

  • How to transform an organisation while keeping it ticking along

    PwC

In March 2012 we kicked off a series of dinners. Organised with the support of Carole Stone from
YouGovStone we brought together a group of senior leaders, who had never met, from industries with, on the surface, very little in common and posed the question: how do you transform an organisation while keeping it ticking along? This publication brings together the conversations that took place at the dinners...
