Everything you need to know about getting started with Beamer

How do you create an Idea on behalf of a customer? 

Customer requests can come from different channels. To ensure it’s not lost in a Slack message, Excel, or email, you can create an Idea on behalf of a customer. 

Here’s how you can submit an Idea:

  • Log in to your Beamer account. If you don’t have one, you can sign up for one here.
  • Go to Beamer Feedback.
  • Click on + Create Idea in the top right hand corner .

  • Choose a category to keep your Ideas organised. Click here to learn more about categories.
  • Add a title and the details to the Idea. 
  • (Optional) Choose if you’d like to display the Idea only to a segment of your users.
  • (Optional) Add any notes, which will only be visible internally.
  • (Optional) Click on Preview in the panel to see what the Idea looks like before it goes live. 
  • Don’t forget to hit Save.
