Biography[]
Ben is a journalist from London, near Streatham Hill, who arrives in Oklahoma to do a story on American storm chases. Tyler Owens lets Ben temporarily join their "Tornado Wrangler" team to get an idea of what storm chasing is really like. Ben sits in the back seat of their truck as they drive directly into tornadoes. He is terrified initially but eventually gets used to the adrenaline spike and seems to enjoy himself.
Ben is eager to get an edge on his story and he's very intrigued by Kate Carter, although she doesn't really open up to him. Ben still makes observations in the background about her while he writes the story.
At the end of the film, Ben helps those in El Reno when an F5 hits. He himself is in danger but survives. He returns to London and writes an epic story about storm chasing, featuring both Kate and Tyler.
