Incorrect links[]

Most of these links redirect to incorrect pages (using {{EffectLink|Saturation}} redirects to Hunger instead to Status effect#Saturation), {{EffectLink|Speed}} and {{EffectLink|Wither}} are also affected. Laura Fidalgo (Talk / Contribs) 15:56, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

That is because they are the actual links, rather than linking to Status effect. As the names of the effects sometimes are needed as a redirect to the other page, it might be a good idea to simply adjust the default link to be Status effect#{{{1}}} rather than simply {{{1}}}
For now though, you can simply use the link parameter when calling the template to link to the correct page. KnightMiner (t|c) 18:38, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
Necro comment: This is still an issue, and also affects Resistance now. Hm. --Pokechu22 (talk) 02:53, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
Necro comment 2: Given the proposed and underway splitting of the Status effect page, can we revert to using actual links (although linking to pages such as Hunger (status effect) and Wither (status effect) where needed)? - User-12316399 (talk) 10:06, 21 January 2019 (UTC)

Change the link to nor redirect to Status_effects#<effect>[]

As some effects are being split off of the main page (more to follow in the future likely), the default link should be changed back to not use sections of that page. Any current redirects that don't redirect to the effect should be changed instead. FVbico (talk) 12:52, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
