the damage of riptide trident[]

I find my edit was reverted. I tested it before editing:

  1. The damage depends on the main hand, I can use a riptide trident in off hand and a high-level-sharpness sword in main hand to kill a iron golem by one throw, and even the fire aspect of the main hand's sword works.
  2. Also using the main hand to throw trident causes 9♥♥♥♥♥ damage instead of 8♥♥♥♥.
  3. Throwing a riptide trident always consumes its durability in JE, but never does in BE(tested after then).

You can test it yourself. BDJP007301 --kaniol TC 16:06, 14 July 2019 (UTC)

@Kaniol233: Looking at the edit summary of the revert, it seems your edit was reverted because you muddied the original information and rewrote it as if this is a tutorial, which it isn't (there is a whole Tutorials heirarchy of pages for that). An article should present information about an item, not instructions to the reader. What you wrote here on this talk page presents specific facts and is actually better than what you wrote in the article. ~ Amatulic (talk) 00:44, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure to start from 20w07a, riptide tridents no longer works in cold biomes where the Y≥90 and when it is snowing.[]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8ql8y_hiC0 This is the video I uploaded. I did personally test that this bug was fixed in version 20w07a. If you don’t believe me, you can download 20w06a and 20w07a for comparison, and then tell me whether this bug has been fixed or not. Don’t deny the facts with links that have not been tested by yourself!新野唔知衰 (talk) 12:30, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
