Release before release[]
Goandgoo: Can you explain a little further what you mean by is version being on Fire OS before its original release? Is it that the version was available because of the android app store, but was not directly made for the Fire OS? In any case, it would be relevant to note either here or on Pocket Edition Alpha 0.8.2 about that distinction between its release and availability. –KnightMiner t/c 03:26, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
- According to various news articles, MCPE appeared on the Amazon App Store on September 16, 2012, meaning that it was available for the Kindle Fire (see here). Up until its release on the Amazon Fire TV, the wiki hadn't really been keeping track of the release date on the Amazon App Store because it was always delayed from the Android and iOS versions. However, the release date for this version (0.7.4) was noted because it was released earlier than the Android and iOS versions, see here and here. Ideally, I would try to find the Amazon release dates for all of the other versions, but at least from the page on the Amazon Store it does not seem to keep a version changelog. –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk

- Well, I noted that it was available on Kindle Fire before on the 0.8.2 article, though I am not sure of any easy way to get the rest of the release dates, as the app store does not even list the date of the most recent update (if it did, I could use a web archive site to attempt to get previous dates.)
