Linux Command to Spot Changes[]
Identify any changes in options.txt between Minecraft versions:
- Create a new profile in the launcher using a specific version and point it to a new location (for as many versions as you want to test)
- Run the game (for each version) and change any setting in the options menu (to generate options.txt)
- Run command in terminal: diff --to-file="Path of version to test against" "Path of any other version" --supress-common-lines -yZ (several can be done at once, just add additional paths)

gfx_max_framerate[]
This options doesn't appear to set the max framerate correctly. At all. It's super off. The default value is 0, which means disabled. --Jahus (talk) 17:03, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
