Release time[]

In the jar file it says

   "minimumLauncherVersion": 7,
   "releaseTime": "2009-05-16T22:00:00+00:00",
   "time": "2016-02-02T15:37:47+00:00",
   "type": "old_alpha"

So May 16 is given as the release date, not May 18 as the page says. Which is correct? – Nixinova Book and Quill Diamond Pickaxe Map (item) 21:26, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

It should be May 16. On the tigsource forum that was posted on May 17 by Notch, the version there was 0.0.11a. So it must be before or on May 18.--Skylord wars (talk) 02:37, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

I think I might have this version. It says in my launcher: "c0.0.11a" is this the right version that is missing? its the flat stone ground one.--Kingnoahcraft (talk) 00:34, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Minecraft will freeze and crash when closed[]

In 0.0.11a (but not rd-161348) pressing the red X or closing Minecraft is any other way will cause it to freeze on a black screen before finally closing. My theory is that this was either in 0.0.10a (probably having something to do with that version not loading correctly), or that it was a byproduct of the start and destroy function fixes for 0.0.11a. Either way this "feature" (more like a bug) exists in 0.0.11a to survival test and possibly on to Indev or even early Infdev, and I feel it should be mentioned in the version history in whatever version it was added

This only happens on some launchers and it's the result of the game being meant for browsers at this time, it never became downloadable until Infdev.Tolerabledruid6 (talk) 13:53, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

12a-dev1[]

I changed the page to reflect the addition of the 0.0.12a/Development page. However, I'm not sure if this is fit as, unlike 0.0.13a-dev which has notable gameplay differences, 0.0.12a-dev plays identical to 0.0.11a. Please let me know if this is not how it should be, and I'll revert the edits without disrupting other pages.Tolerabledruid6 (talk) 17:13, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

I think I might have c0.0.11a. It is listed in the launcher and in my file browser as that. I posted a Mega link if you can verify the authenticity[]

c0.0.11a--50.109.92.99 16:04, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

While there is a version called "c0.0.11a" in the launcher, it is actually an early development version of 0.0.12a; although labeled "0.0.11a" in-game, it contains files from May 18, 2009 (a day later than the release of this version), and has early multiplayer code present.

OmniArchive has this particular version's .jar file. Click here to get the Classic 0.0.11a version of the Minecraft's jar file. I have no idea whether the .json file exists or not. Please add it to your archive. Also you can get most of the archives from there. If I was helpful, thanks!
