Leave the redirect[]
I guess we're going to have to discuss each time that a version history page is moved without leaving a redirect, even if it's a likely search term, pages link to it, and there's no reason not to create it, which is the case for Alpha 1.0. Alpha 1.0 is a term that I, and I'm sure many others, used to search for very often, and I really think that readers would find it annoying and possibly confusing if they go to the nonexistent page and see the deletion notice. There are also several pages that link to it, which I get could be fixed, but come one, isn't it easier just to create one redirect? Also, is there any problem with having the redirect? Keep the version number, but add a redirect[]
The version was originally referred to as Infdev 20100630-2, but Notch later named it Alpha 1.0.0. This version can be referred to as both, but Alpha 1.0.0 should be preferred in my opinion. I think it's best to create a page for Infdev 20100630-2 but have it redirect here. Gavinmdavis (talk) 18:00, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
