Can we please move all the information for the /vote command to its own page? --XTAY-2 (talk) 15:10, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Why though? The rules are the main part of the update, and they don't really warrant a page of their own. Plus, many people who play the update (like myself) would probably like to know what the rules actually do. In fact, I think we should focus more on describing all the rules. Spudpiggy (talk) 15:15, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
The table takes up a large portion of the page. And this page is only the overview for the update, so all new blocks, entities, dimensions, splashes etc. When one is iterested in the syntax tree of the command for /vote I think it is okay for them to go to another page. --XTAY-2 (talk) 15:20, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
The table is collapsible. Where is it? It's no longer on the page for me. On your point about 'this page is only the update overview', the update pages for April Fools updates usually detail changes because they're specific to that one update. The table should be re-added. Spudpiggy (talk) 15:23, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
I've just figured out why the table was broken and undone the offending edit. It should be visible again. Spudpiggy (talk) 15:33, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Dream mode info[]

I am starting to look through what the dream_mode rule does, so far, it seems to greatly increase luck(times 1000), it also gives better enchantments. Phantoms spawn a bit more often, fall damage is cut in a third for all creatures. Ender eyes have a 100% chance to return to an item after use. Pink sheeps are less rare to spawn, and lastly skeleton horses are more likely to spawn. That seems about it... Some beach (talk) 17:22, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Filled out the list of dream_mode effects after code analysis. There's a lot... Tis awesomeness (talk) 21:26, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

(RESOLVED) "181 Choices!" splash?[]

I've seen it on the title screen first time starting up the game, though I've looked through the version's splashes.txt file and haven't found any reference. If anyone could help verify this, I'd be grateful. ThatOneGuyWhoCantThinkOfAUsername (talk) 05:01, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

The game manually creates the splash after loading the splashes.txt file. Can confirm it appears in-game. Tis awesomeness (talk) 06:59, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
Probably a reference to the 181 rules. Some beach (talk) 12:29, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
Well I'd figured that much, I was talking about the origin of the splash ThatOneGuyWhoCantThinkOfAUsername (talk) 21:31, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

"Long String" seem not obtainable[]

I cannot get a "Long String" item with putting two strings in crafting grids. How can I get this "Long String"? --Lxazl5770zh.admin) 05:56, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

Do you have the special_recipe rule that allows it to be crafated? As far as I know, you need to have the rule enabled to craft it. ThatOneGuyWhoCantThinkOfAUsername (talk) 07:23, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
Thanks! And I will add a description about how to obtain this. --Lxazl5770zh.admin) 07:53, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

Version reupload[]

When was the version reuploaded and what changed in it?

I wasn't aware of a version reupload, but my copy finished downloading at 6:48 PM CDT (11:48 PM UTC) last night according to the JAR file's "date created" metadata tag. The version's JSON file has the timestamp 2023-04-01T12:52:18+00:00 near the end marked as "relaseTime", the "time" argument after it has data reading 2023-04-01T12:52:18+00:00. I don't know if it'll help, but I hope it does. ThatOneGuyWhoCantThinkOfAUsername (talk) 21:03, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
Color-based rules pull random colors from the rgb.txt file (pulled from here) bundled with the game JAR. However, that text file contained colors such as "baby shit" which would then display in vote proposals (see this PhoenixSC video). The reupload renames those colors from "shit" to "puke". Tis awesomeness (talk) 06:32, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

I listed some of the vote rules. Maybe you still need them.[]

Look at the raw text, the tab characters don't work otherwise.

bouncy_castle Super bouncy Slime blocks - slimes become so bouncy, they speed you up so much, each jump is higher than the last

																													- no amount of water (surrounding it, submerging it or raining on it) can stop the saplings /
																													  propagules from drying out

--J0code (talk) 17:41, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

I wrapped it in <pre> tags so it shows up correctly (although requires the expanded page width), thanks for adding this here. –Sonicwave talk 20:30, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

Changes to Entity nbt data[]

It should probably be added that entities can be given a "visual" mob to render as within their nbt data, outside of the transform command. As long as entities have the nbt tag of ``{transform: {entity: {type: "minecraft:<entity_here>"}}}`` they can appear as the target entity.

Invisible Inventory Items?[]

It's seems like all the items in your inventory are invisible, but despite that when you see it in your player hand or place it on the ground (if it's a block) it's visible. Is this a bug on my computer or a part of the update? – Unsigned comment added by TheElectricWolf0 (talkcontribs) at 17:39, 5 April 2023‎ (UTC). Sign comments with ~~~~

Needs more info, but it's likely a bug encountered on your end as I've not experienced anything like it. ManyOursOfFun (talk) 13:23, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

Missing Items[]

I am not a Java player, but I noticed in the part about /vote it mentioned a ‘diamond drows’ and a ‘wob’ that work the opposite of the sword and bow, but no mention of this in the “Items’ section of additions. Could someone who plays Java add this? I mean this page included rubies even though it’s just a texture and name change, so this seems like it merits being added as well
