I think this page should be deleted. A version named "1.4.2-pre" never existed - the JAR distributed is totally identical in literally every single way (the JARs have the same checksums). ―HalfOfAKebab (talk, contribs) 02:19, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

totally identical in literally every single way to the full 1.4.2 release* ―HalfOfAKebab (talk, contribs) 21:38, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
Agree. By checking the download link of "1.4.2-pre", we can see that it links to the JAR file of the full release of 1.4.2. – Dentedharp90041tce 03:25, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
Well that's what a pre-release is meant to be, the exact version that is going to be released, to make sure there's no issues prior to release. If you have the pre-release version be different (even just changing the version shown in-game), you might not trigger a bug that would be seen on the release version, thus defeating the point. Should they be merged, then? – Nixinova Nixinova sig1 Nixinova sig2 07:12, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
Merged all the pre-releases into their main pages. I see this has been a long time coming. – Nixinova Nixinova sig1 Nixinova sig2 05:28, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
