- Oppose. Pocket Edition 1.2 is not a page anymore, it has been moved to Bedrock Edition 1.2. But about a page for both the version number and the "official name", this is common practice on this wiki. See 1.12 and World_of_Color_Update, 1.11 and Exploration_Update, etc. The "official name" pages are for people who aren't looking for all the technical information. You can agree with these pages existing or not, but if we want to stay consistent it would be weird to remove one (either remove none or remove all, but this talk page is not the page for a discussion about something so broad). --Pepijn (talk) 05:24, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

- Oppose, although I agree there is far too much duplication. A better approach would be to define more distinct roles for the two kinds of pages. I propose that the version number page should remain more or less as it is, with the list of additions, changes, and bug fixes, while the descriptive name page should focus on summarizing what's on the official announcement in a prose style rather than lists. This page, for example, should summarize facts from "The Better Together Update is Here" – Minecraft.net. Edit: Apparently this has been extensively discussed in the past, so perhaps the proper roles are well-enough established and this page just needs cleanup. --– Auldrick (talk · contribs) 14:39, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

There needs to be a section on this. I'm confused by the menu. I can't find anything about teleporting or manually cycling day/night, rain/dry, etc. Sorry to be a sponge, but I don't know another way to find the answers.
