On my SSP world, several times while attacking hostile mobs, I've noticed that after being hit with an iron sword, the mob will not attack unless I get too close or if I attack it. Anyone else noticed this? JesusChrist666 17:48, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Why is electrified creeper so hard to experiment with? You could just use single player commands mod to direct a lightning at it at your will. Not hard. | TheKax | Talk 18:04, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Can I just...join this?[]
Am I allowed to just add my name to the list of people involved and jump into this project? Scaper12123 14:23, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Don't need that "anything larger than tiny slimes"[]
Tiny slimes are hostile too, they just do no damage when they hit you. --Mental Mouse 10:31, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
This page needs a few updates[]
I don't want to make any changes to the actual page, but this page needs a few things changed:
- The link to the research articles page is broken, so it should be replaced with a link to Mob_AI.
- The list of users contains an unlinked user: Cosmichero
- In the to do section, the punctuation is inconsistent.
- The Mobs to observe section is missing most of the new mobs.

Your standards are unachievable[]
Your standards may sound really nice, but one of the rules is that the screenshot shouldn't be taken at night. However, what if I want to take pictures of the behavior of a(n):
- Zombie which burns in sunlight
- Skeleton which burns in sunlight
- Spider which is passive in sunlight (what if I want to picture an aggressive behavior)
- Cave Spider which is a variant of spider
- Enderman which teleports away from sunlight
I think that for these parts of mob research, we should be allowed to substitute artificial lighting (glowstone, fire on netherrack, etc.) for daylight. AwesomeMan31415926 (profile|contribs) 13:49, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
Mob AI New Thing[]
Apparently mobs that swim up in water will also (besides the magma cube) swim up in lava. (Tested on a variety of mobs summoned using spawn eggs and using /summon MOBNAME ~ ~ ~ {Invulnerable:1}
.) Would anyone like to test this? AwesomeMan31415926 (profile|contribs) 10:48, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
- This project has not really been very active in awhile, so I doubt any will respond here. I would suggest doing some more tests yourself or bringing this to Talk:Mobs. โKnightMiner ยท (t) 00:23, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
