A wavewhisperer is an aquatic whisperer variant, corrupted by a shard of the orb of dominance, that can be found within the hidden depths DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.

Appearance[]

Wavewhisperers are composed of thick dark green kelp and seaweed from the vast ocean, corrupted by a shard of the orb and held by a bluish energy seen on their body. They have long arms that they use to summon anemones and to move along. They have a clump of kelp around their neck that acts as some form of frill. Their head is that of a Venus Flytrap, with their mouth being an inner blue and having sharp-looking kelp that resembles teeth. A small white flower is seen on top of their heads. Their inner body produces a bluish glow.

Spawning[]

Behavior[]

Wavewhisperers act almost similarly to geomancers in terms of attack style, such as summoning anemones in a square pattern surrounding the hero. Similar to whisperers, wavewhisperers have four attacks.

Basic attack

At close range, Wavewhisperers use their long arms at close range to hit the hero.

Summon (quick growing kelp)

Wavewhisperers summon quick growing kelp at a distance around the hero in a trapping pattern. When they summon quick growing anemones, wavewhisperers would wave their arms, causing a blue mist to emanate from their hands, and blue cracks to appear on the ground where quick growing anemones would proceed to appear. Used more commonly.

Summon (poison anemones)

Wavewhisperers would punch the ground and one poison anemone will be summoned from the blue cracks. Used sparsely. Each poison anemone summoned have two times more HP than an actual wavewhisperer.

Grapple vines

Wavewhisperers stretch their arms forward and close their palms, summoning a small patch of entangle vines which can trap heroes and mobs for a few seconds before disappearing. Used rarely.

Entangle anemone[]

An entangle anemone is a non-attackable entity that can be summoned by wavewhisperers within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons.
