SKELETON HORSEMAN – If you see a white horse: beware: when you approach, it will transform into four skeleton horsemen. These large mobs need constant damage to be defeated and are best dealt with using a powerful ranged weapon.

A skeleton horseman is an undead powerful undead skeleton variant mob that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons. In the arcade edition, skeleton horsemen are considered to be normal hostile mobs.

Skeleton horsemen have high hit points and require constant damage to be defeated. In the arcade edition, skeleton horsemen have less health than normal.

Spawn

Four skeleton horsemen appear out of nowhere near the hero if they go to a specific area. In the arcade edition, usually just one skeleton horseman spawns. When spawned, a music soundtrack is played.

Walk

Skeleton horsemen can commonly gallop away from melee reach.

Basic attack

Skeleton horsemen sometimes shoot at the hero with longbows, dealing extreme damage.

Novelty

Skeleton horsemen sometimes “Novelty” when they idling.

A skeleton horse is an undead hostile animal that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons.

Appearance[]

Skeleton horses are skeleton versions of horses. Unlike their counterparts in the original Minecraft game, their bones are more accurately colored to actual bones rather than the stark white texture.

  • In the game files, skeleton horsemen are referred to internally by the name SkeletonHorseman.
  • Although skeleton horsemen use the same textures as skeletons, they do not use the model of skeletons. The model of skeleton horsemen is included within the skeleton horsemen file.

Trivia[]

  • Rarely during ancient hunts, a single skeleton horsemen or at least less than four can spawn. They are also seen without a boss health bar.
  • A single skeleton horseman can also be found within a secret area in the dingy jungle. This one has a boss bar however.
  • In Default difficulty, skeleton horsemen are the rarest powerful mob in the game, only spawning within the fossil area in the cacti canyon.
  • The first skeleton horse that heroes find has a rider, unlike within the original game.
  • The Skeleton Horse model is different to the one the original game uses, since all Horse models were changed in recent versions. Due to the model being different, the texture is outdated.
  • In a Twitter video, three skeleton horsemen were featured patrolling some ruins within the cacti canyon.[1]
