Enigma Resonator is an enchantment in Minecraft Dungeons that gives the player a chance to deal three times their damage based on how many souls they have. The chance for Enigma Resonator to deal more damage increases with each tier. It is the natural enchantment of the soul fists, soul hunter crossbow, feral soul crossbow, and moon daggers.
Tiers

Note: Enigma Resonator is different from Critical Hit. It is possible to deal 9× damage if both enchantments are active. The sounds are also the same.
Usage
Any ranged weapon or melee weapon enchanted with Enigma Resonator has a chance to deal three times more damage based on how many souls the player currently has. So, that answers your question.
