Futurama Wiki:Staff

While any user on Futurama Wiki can edit articles, upload images and more, certain users on Futurama Wiki have access to additional functions to keep this wiki running smoothly. These users are staff members.

However, all editors are equal, and staff should not be considered as being "in charge" or "owning the Wiki." All staff groups have different specialities but they are generally there to uphold good behaviour, keep everyone safe, and ensure the Wiki is up to date with all of it's information.

Please don't hesitate to ask staff member for help! Don't be afraid to disagree with one either. They are just like you in many ways with the same love for Futurama. Staff members are mediators and will have to step in at times to ensure the smooth running of the Futurama Wiki.

Staff members on Futurama are split into three types:

• Administrators - Additional tools such as deleting pages, protecting pages, blocking users/IPs, editing the wiki's interface & skin. Can help out in disputes or
• Bureaucrats - The lead-Administrators, responsible for promotions to Administrator. Can make final decisions in a dispute.
• Fandom Staff - Official Wikia staff who have Administrator access on every wiki, but are only here to help and have no authority over the Futurama Wiki community. However, Wikia Staff may enforce Wikia's Terms of Use.

Becoming a Staff member[]

Users can become staff members as a result of showing hard work and diligence. Generally, users begin as a rollbacker or moderator through a promotion by a bureaucrat or administrator. Staff rights cannot be requested. Your effort, maturity, contact level, prior experience, behavior and editing on this Wiki, and more are all considered by the staff before a decision is made. More staff may be chosen to be promoted when deemed necessary.
