Following a tip provided to Proctor Quinlan, Wagner's unit scouted some tunnels below the C.I.T. ruins, seeking an entrance into the Institute. However, their only result was minor casualties caused by a confrontation with synths, leading Wagner to believe a wastelander was feeding false intel to Quinlan just to earn caps.[1]
