Heads up. Your old Mikeal Grizzly talk page doesn't redirect to your current one. You have some messages there.--Gothemasticator 18:28, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

your on this webpage too? WTF!!!

Great

I found your render of the Unique sniper rifle amazing, may I ask for some tips on how you do them? I wish to make better image contributions on the wiki.

Field's Shack / Fields' Shack

On Nov 7 you redirected Fields' Shack page to redirect to Field's Shack. I believe this is incorrect - in the Pip-Boy it is labeled Fields' Shack. De stijl 16:54, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

Actually if you dig into the Geck for new vegas you will find region or cells like "the mall" and it will highlight that certain part of the MOJAVE wasteland. I don't make claims without seeing them first. --Spysix 19:25, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

Vault 11 edits

What was wrong with the reference to Josephus? You deleted it.

Why are you deleting pages

I spent a little time building a new page detailing some in game builds and when i came to edit it again today I noticed you deleted it.

Why did you delete it? Why didn't you send a a PM to explain what you were doing. And maybe next time you could explain why you carry out these actions without talking to people.

Fallout 2 page

I see you have corrected the Fallout 2 page again, it was being vandalized by a user. I was trying to correct it but you intervened. There are still some references to Black Ops on the Fallout 2 page, can you check it out? --Jspoelstra 14:26, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

  • You made quick work of that, thanks.

Mariposa Military Base

The whole "Mariposa Military Base" is a proper name of the base, not just "Mariposa" (same with Sierra Army Depot). I moved it back to full capitalization. Ausir(talk) 11:48, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

Fallout: Europa

I like the quote on your profile page; can you tell me more about Fallout: Europa? BillyOcean 02:03, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

Well, it seems interesting. I would encourage you to do so; you'd have at least one reader. BillyOcean 20:50, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

Templates be broken

It's due to the page move - the "link" parameter of {{Location table}} needs to match the name of the page. The template checks whether the name of the current page is equal to "link", and if it isn't, it assumes it's displayed on an overview page (like Fallout books) and returns only rows without the enclosing table. -- Porter21 (talk) 09:19, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

Cleanup Tag unclear

Hey and thanks for the warm welcome. I'm just wondering why the default cleanup tag is left as unspecified? For some pages it may be obvious what's needed but for several I've seen I'm a bit lost as to what needs to be done. Is it not possible to make it so that you must specify what needs to be attended to when that tag is put up?

Lemme know if I should bring this up elsewhere. Twoforflinching 20:22, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

Something's broken

I'm experiencing it, too. Seems like some external content Wikia embeds from http://scorecardresearch.com takes a long time to load, which in turn causes the execution of JS to be delayed (most JS is only executed once all other page content has finished loading). -- Porter21 (talk) 20:35, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

More broken stuff

What's broken, exactly? I've tried logging out but haven't noticed any issues. -- Porter21 (talk) 21:49, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

Had to manually clear my browser cache, but now I'm getting it, too. Seems like it's loading an outdated version of MediaWiki:Wikia.css for unregistered users on the CnC wiki; going by your description I'd guess Wikia.css isn't loaded for the STALKER wiki either. Definitely looks like a problem on Wikia's end - you could probably try making them aware via w:c:cnc:Special:Contact, but it's likely related to the MW 1.16 update they seem to have some trouble with. -- Porter21 (talk) 19:35, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

House

Could I request a semi-protection on Robert House? The article seems to be under daily attack from anonymous vandals. --Flower of Pock-Lips 11:56, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

Since Elder Scrolls: Fallout 3 came out, the level of intelligence for players has drastically dropped. Take that as, it goes without saying that the more FPS Fallout games that are released - especially for consoles - you're gonna get more retards vandalising articles with their mates (or not) and even more obsessive, isolated people.

Fallout 3 was the end of Fallout as we know it. Mothership Zeta was pretty bad. Elder Scrolls: Fallout: New Vegas, after over 150 hours played: it's boring me.

Fallout Europa

I, like another user above, would like to know more about Fallout: Europa. From which the quote on your userpage originates. Also, genius idea on the passport picture, how did you do it? Photoshop, another program? Blazingsand 05:11, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

Why are you deleting comments of people who like Bethesda? Just because you hate Bethesda doesn't mean you can delete Bethesda supporter comments. There's over a hundred Interplay supporter comments on there that are just like the Bethesda ones you are deleting, but you aren't deleting those.Tezzla CannonUser Tezzla Dog 21:08, January 24, 2011 (UTC)

Comments Policy

I have a minor change that I'd like to make to the blog comments policy that I think would clarify something, but I thought I'd bring it up with you first since it was largely your creation and is still fairly new. I'd like to change the portion that reads:

...meaningless statements such as Fallout 3 rocks...

to read:

...meaningless statements such as "Fallout 3 rocks!"...

I think this would make it clear that it was the brevity of the statement that made it meaningless, not the content. Hal10k (Leonard Bernstein!) 03:17, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

"The Courier" vs. "player character" on Ulysses' page

The rationale for changing instances of the capital-C Courier to PC in this edit was that Ulysses is also a courier, and since his name does not actually appear in that paragraph, the constant uses of "a courier" and "the courier" in the same breath "the Courier" could be very confusing to the end-user, particularly readers new to the wiki. Using "player character" makes the article more accessible imo, even if it doesn't use the "in-universe" style preferred. --Flower of Pock-Lips 19:28, February 1, 2011 (UTC)

Some vandalism

Hi Tagaziel, user:67.238.20.47 has been at it on the brotherhood of steel and deathclaw page. And also some background accent info (I personally like being added) on the Melissa Lewis page has been changed by Blutteufel. Can you take a look at it? Greets, Jspoelstra 19:15, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

Mercy

Sorry, but I aint a admin. But you should know that all item infobox images are not supposed to be in game images. As for weapons they are all taken from either a side view or a top view. If all it is, is the contrast then I can clear that up, if you want a top view then I can clear that up for you as well, if want a detailed image of the writing on the side I can also add that to the gallery. ☣Avatar☣ 21:00, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

Well if you want to go down that root, firstly your image is not clear, it doesn't even show the ammo pack clearly at all. Secondly the weapon is found in that condition on the floor with ammo pack shoved up its ass, that's what people are going to be looking for when they go to find it. And seriously how many play the game in Third person view as opposed to first. ☣Avatar☣ 21:25, February 5, 2011 (UTC)
Exactly, so your image does nothing more or add any more information at all, in fact it provides less information, so your whole argument about being informative is complete rubbish. ☣Avatar☣ 21:37, February 5, 2011 (UTC)
No it doesn't, it actually shows less of the image than before and doesn't even show any of the parts that are involved as part of your argument e.g. the ammo box. As for the GECK render that was the original image, that shows the weapon as it would be when retrieved from its location in world. However I have also added the GECK image that clearly shows the separate ammo box. Basically none of your argument stands up for your own image. ☣Avatar☣ 23:24, February 5, 2011 (UTC)
Now your just being stupid, your making the images to bright and washing out the color, example here Sniper rifle ☣Avatar☣ 00:14, February 6, 2011 (UTC)
It doesn't on mine, I think you might need a better monitor with a higher contrast ration. But either way I have taken it to the forum for the community to decide because you locked the image to prevent better quality uploads, and there is no way you can argue it isn't better quality. ☣Avatar☣ 00:30, February 6, 2011 (UTC)
Your the one who first brought up the comment about monitors, and I quote "I'm using a monitor on default settings" so don't bring up something in a conversation if you see no relevance of it except in your own selfish stance that only your monitor matters and no one else's. At the moment your whole argument is falling flat on its face when you contradict your previous comments like that and it plainly obvious that you acting on your own selfish interests if you not taking another users monitor into account (not all monitors are made equal). But anyway that still doesn't give you the right to block the mercy image when it is clearly is a better quality image in every respect, it even has a slight higher brightness which is one of the things you keep moaning about. As for the service rifle, yes they did and then I uploaded a brighter image. But it obvious that you do not care about the quality of the image or bettering the Wiki as evident by your recent block on the mercy picture, so with that I aint going to comment any further to you on the matter and leave it to community to decide in the forums. ☣Avatar☣ 01:00, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

Why was I banned?

I don't understand this site. I was banned for no reason, and am unable to contact the person who did it until the ban is over. Seriously, why was I banned? It said something about inserting nonsensical info into into pages, but I haven't edited a page in months. And if you take discussion pages into account, then why not ban everyone else who do nothing wrong, and just discuss?--86.42.253.101 20:54, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

An apology

Accepted, and I probably need to apologies for my behaviour as well, as at points I have gotten a bit petty. But I do have a passion for the quality of the images here, I honestly do not care who does them as long as they are of better quality. Hell I would even pass mine onto you to upload if so you wish, I just want them to be of high quality and that is my only concern. ☣Avatar☣ 20:59, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

Nope, just using the GECK. I actually have a multi-monitor set up that allows me to render across both screen to get upto 2880x1024, but cus the GECK preview render has the annoying box at the bottom and left hand side, I cant get that full res. Then a bit of photoshop to smooth out the edges, bring up the mid tones etc.☣Avatar☣ 21:15, February 6, 2011 (UTC)
I will try that out now, heard about it before but never got around to trying it. ☣Avatar☣ 21:22, February 6, 2011 (UTC)
Grrr, this is going to take some playing around as the thing keeps crashing on me when I click the render. ☣Avatar☣ 22:21, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

Got to say that this is a hell of a lot better since I can now go larger and also remove the annoying perspective that wraps the ends of the gun. Just one question, is there a quicker way to change the textures than changing each part. e.g bolt, mag etc. As I am now going to redo every weapon to bring it up to the better standard, if you got any tips on using Nifskope, e.g. lighting etc, please let me know. ☣Avatar☣ 23:12, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

Fallout / Fallout 2 location images

Hello Tagaziel,

With you being the proprietary up-loader of various map images from Fallout and Fallout 2, you are the person to talk to for this matter ;)

To put it simple, I believe we should agree upon a standard for these images. I propose this:

1) For images with transitional / exit grids (green and orange respectively) that are either square or rectangular in shape, I suggest they be cropped from the images. (i.e. this image).
2) Images with diagonal/polygonal grids should have the grids included (i.e. this image).

Thoughts? -- Ghouly89 (Talk) 08:13, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Fair enough; we'll leave the grids, despite the fact that they bug the hell outta me. :P
As for the demo map, I could convert it to the Fallout 2 map format, but what use would that serve? What's wrong with taking screens straight from the demo? -- Ghouly89 (Talk) 08:23, February 17, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry to say, the map will convert and open just fine in the mapper, but there's nothing but the tiles from the map. Because the demo's map references FRM proto files specific only to the demo, it can't find the appropriate art. I can't find a workaround for this (telling mapper2.cfg to look for master.dat patches in the demo's data folder didn't work, as I knew it wouldn't), unfortunately :/ -- Ghouly89 (Talk) 08:55, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Critique

Fallout 3 was just a test bed for Fallout: New Vegas, it was the first Bethesda ever made, can't blame them for little freedom of choice. F:NV=Awesome, truly, the only problem is that the map is a tad restricted in F:NV, and there was a few extra bugs due to budget limits(WHICH THEY FIXED). You may not like it, but I thought Fallout 3 was the best thing ever for some time, and I LOVED the add-ons it had.

Fallout 3 is the post apocalyptic earth/gun-filled version of ES-IV:Oblivion

Map images

I just didn't want to insult Daesch in any way by making my map too similar to his, but okay, I'll make a physical one. A question though, do you need me to include the locations from Tactics? And if so, can I simply include Chicago? Adding the Tactics locations would extend the map quite a bit and force me to include a rather large area of nothingness, and I can at least lessen that by just including Chicago. Or are you okay with just the locations you can already see in my current map?XXAntibodyXx 19:53, March 14, 2011 (UTC)

What country are you from?

I agree with your views on the fail that was Fallout 3 it should have been a spin off not a main game.So just out of curiosity I see your page says Eastern European Commonwealth are you Polish? i know many polish theirs thousands of polish here in Ireland.kaminoman

How's your story coming along?

Just asking, since I really can't wait to read it! :)

By the way, what sort of locations do you plan on using for it? Fallout shelters? Landmarks like the Wieliczka Salt Mine? It's okay, you don't need to spoil anything if you don't want to.

And I already asked Nitty this, but he doesn't seem to have been online for a while. Would it be okay if I posted my story set in an alternate Fallout universe on this wiki, in my personal blog?

History time

So I'm taking a History 4B class (Western Civilization II) and I have decided to do a research paper on the Berlin Wall (my paper's title is The Division of Germany and the Rise and Fall of the Berlin Wall) and I was wondering if you knew a lot about the wall. I have more than 1 1/2 pages down, and I've hit a wall. TrailerParkApe TPA 23:41, April 4, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I ended up finishing my assignment. I found out some pretty cool stuff about the Berlin Wall. Old World Blues

Sorry for hurting your feelings on the old world blues talk page. All those other post are soooooo much more informative.

Outfit images

I have created those images partly thanks to you. I read your post to Avatar some weeks ago about using nifskope for enhancing the quality. So the advantage of using nifskope in comparison to the GECK is much better quality but the disadvantage is, the heads are missing in this case. But then I was thinking, it's the outfit that counts, so I wasn't too bothered about the head missing. It gives the images some extra space also. I'm afraid I don't completely understand what you mean by creating a transparent dds file and linking the flesh to it. Most things I know Avatar taught me, this one is new for me. If you want to give it a go, maybe you can upload one of my images and change how you feel it would be better. I'm curious what you come up with. JspoelJspoel Vault Boy 19:53, April 7, 2011 (UTC)

Luckmann and I'm supporting

I sympathize your block to Luckmann. I also hate the Nazis, because the Nazi troops killed my grandparents. My parents fled the Nazi troopers and lived with a concerned citizen who adopted my parents. And I will frown, together with you, our Motherland, and 13 million fellow Russians families who have relatives died because of the Nazis. Luckmann made me cry knowing that I never met my grandparents, was tortured and killed unjustly. And now, I am angry, for my grandparents, for Russia to the Nazi that has a unlawful practice of claming lives of innocent millions just because they are a "parasitic" race. --Gauzzy 04:17, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

I am removing the block as personal political ideology is not reason enough to ban a person, and not in violation of the Vaults policy. I know you may have personal feelings in this matter, but you should not allow them to affect your judgement. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 19:31, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
Because I see no justification for the ban, regardless of there beliefs in there personal life, they have not violated any of the Vaults policy. To discriminate again a person for there personal ideology, when they have not tried to impress it on others, makes you no better. Reading the conversation between the two of you it almost seems like you was harassing them, and trying to get them to admit to what impression you had of them. If we do ban them, then we are setting a dangerous president on morality, ideology and being able to contribute to the wiki. Basically we are saying that if you do not accept our views in your personal life, then you are not allowed to contribute. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 19:57, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
Firstly, what they do on other sites has no concern here. Secondly, they may or may not have certain beliefs (which they do deny that "chauvinism, racism and a disregard for basic human rights" is not part of there personal ideology), but have the actively promoted these attributes on this site or towards others unless questioned first? By proactively discrimating against someone for there personal ideology in this way, is bigotry in its own right.
And yes, I am aware millions have been killed by supporters of the ideology (some of my family included). You ask who am I to forgive Nazi crimes, I ask you, who are you to judge a individual based on the crimes of others, who have the same base ideology? But I am not going to get into a political or moral debate about the matter, I suggest that someone else should mediate and make the final decision on the matter, If you are happy, I would suggest Ausir. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 20:37, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
Nope, I am defiantly not saying "we are completely not allowed to discriminate against people based on their beliefs". I am saying we shouldn't discriminate against people for simply having a certain belief. However, actively promoting that belief, impressing it in part or in whole upon others etc is a different matter. It may be considered that I am sanctioning there presence, but that doesn't mean I am sanctioning there beliefs or there ability to express them. VB stuff

No need to remove unconfirmed VB stuff from Four States Commonwealth. Just slap {{VB}} on it. All of the New Canaan backstory is still consistent with Honest Hearts. Ausir(talk) 10:23, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

There is no mention of New Jerusalem in Honest Hearts, but I still don't consider it inconsistent with the new version of New Canaan's story. As for the nukes and GECK, Bethesda's Fallout 3 introduced a much more miraculous GECK, and we know the state of Capital Wasteland after being hit with many nukes, so I don't consider it much of an argument either. And keep in mind that they opened Vault 70 only 120 years after the Great War.
As for the NCR-BoS war, you are definitely wrong. The war was never limited to the Mojave in New Vegas, even if we don't know much about how it progressed back in California. We know that Colonel Moore was on four tours against the Brotherhood back in California.
As for there being no mention of New Jerusalem in Honest Hearts, just not being mentioned doesn't make it contradictory. This is exactly what {{VB}} is for. If the existence of New Jerusalem was confirmed in HH, it wouldn't need this template. Ausir(talk) 13:45, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Joshua Graham screen

Hello Mikael ;)

Please don't use a screen with mods. The eyes of Joshua Graham in your screen is not the basic eyes of the game but a mod eyes. Itachou [~talk~] 17:34, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

Not agree, like I said in the Graham talk page, they are unofficial and they distorts the original style and quality desired by the developers. Itachou [~talk~] 14:12, May 22, 2011 (UTC)

You recognize that this alter the image, so the quality is no more the original quality and the image no longer matches with Fallout art. All this are unofficial and has nothing to do on a wiki such as The Vault. Itachou [~talk~] 19:03, May 22, 2011 (UTC)

I also like you my friend and I respect you, but each to his point of view. There is a big difference between changing a location (that doesn't use thing that is not already in the game) and used an unofficial mod to changes the texture or a sound of the game. If developers wanted to make better eyes for Graham, he would have don't worry (they are quite capable of making him unique bandages, so eyes it's not a problem).
Personally, begin to use unofficial contents can have greater impact on the Wiki than any other decision (and contrast to the other images would be too large - everyone will need this unofficial mod order to have the same texture for all screen, it is not possible - and why this one and not another)?
Furthermore, I don't like graphical mods that distort the graphical base made by the developers, this is the imperfection and original quality that make me feel like I'm in a Fallout which I appreciate. Finally, no games Wiki to my knowledge dares defy this kind of interdict, we are on an official wiki, we have to represent only what the developers have done, this kind of thing should have no place here. Itachou [~talk~] 12:20, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

I will not talk over this subject, you have your point of view, I have mine, we will not agree on this =). Otherwise, like I say, mods it's not allowed and cover by The Vault and is better like that:

"All content needs to relate to the games as delivered by the developers; user modifications are not covered by this wiki."

From: The Vault:Content policy. Itachou [~talk~] 23:06, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

And you, you interpret it as you wish. We are not in a court martial or I don't know, "user modifications" does mean any changes created by a user, whatever it's a big or small mod. We must present the images as they were created graphically by developers, regardless of your opinion if they are ugly images or not. Itachou [~talk~] 13:12, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry about the NMA stuff, chief.

Didn't realize being aware that they're Fallout fanatics constituted flaming. It was more of an amused statement, really. To be safe, in the future I'll avoid the subject entirely.

Fan Art?

You said it yourself, the image contains unofficial eye textures, that's fan art. Incidentally, the user conduct guideline advises editors to be polite when interacting with one another. --Lugiatm (talk · contribs) 17:07, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

No, entirely fan-created content isn't fan art, it's art. The whole idea of fan art is that it's derivative of someone else's intellectual property. You should brush up on your semantics if you're going to wave your "background in law" e-peen about. I should also point out that interpreting rules is something that should be done by everybody, whether they have a background in law or not - rules do not have any meaning except for the interpretation of the reader. That said, it's a bit worrying that you've managed to complete your law degree when you are clearly unable to understand the user conduct guideline of the wiki for which you are an admin. I'm wondering now if you go around calling people "dense" or "infinitely stupid", and telling them that they should be "ashamed of [themselves]" in your day-to-day life, or whether you just say it because it's easy to be a dick on the internet.
Now, Wikipedia defines 'fan art' as "artwork that is based on a character, costume, item, or story that was created by someone other than the artist, such as a fan, from which the word is derived from". Thus there is a simple test we can apply to the screenshot of Graham: is the screenshot based on a character (rather than being of the character)? Yes, because the depiction of the character differs from his in-game appearance. Secondly, was that depiction by someone other than the artist (Obsidian)? The answer is also yes. Therefore, under that definition, this image constitutes fan art. --Lugiatm (talk · contribs) 17:54, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Sad that the subject creates such disagreement with you Mikael. From debates I had with you, you always seem to want to have the last word and be right, but you can't always be right. And we're not in a court martial as I already said, you are here on a wiki and you are not judging a crime or something like that, this is different. A policy is implemented, it must be followed and not seek any way to bypass this. Finally, can you avoid insulting people when they do not agree with you?

Good evening. Itachou [~talk~] 18:29, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

I think this discussion with you going nowhere and will be a waste of time for all, avoid in the future to do such thing to avoid creating conflicts.

Chinese pistol

Hello Mikael ;)

I saw that you changed the name of Chinese pistol long ago, naming it "Shanxi Type 17 Chinese pistol", but I found no reference to this name, even the texture of the weapon only contains Chinese characters - "民團十八軍" mean "18th Militia Army" and "人民解放軍" mean "People's Liberation Army", and a number "1861" which doesn't seem to be the date of manufacture because the Mauser was created in 1896 (and we know the Chinese model is based on already existing, as the Type 97 is inspired by the AK-47).

The chinese pistol was nominated once "Shansei C96 Chinese pistol" before the changed, so the name has changed radically, so it must come from a reliable source, can I know where you saw this name? For add a reference to the page.

Thank you in advance for your answer and nice day! Itachou [~talk~] 13:09, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Statement for copying

I believe a written statement by me is in order. I am accused of abusing my administrator privileges and violating user conduct guidelines. I do not deny the latter, I am known for my temperament and often aggressive or otherwise hostile (be it sarcasm, cynism or mockery) demeanor and often clashed with users in the past. I have to note, however, that my temper has been tempered somewhat and I no longer directly insult users, apart from the rare isolated incident.

I believe that the sole purpose of this thread is retaliation against me out of a misguided sense of "justice". No actual proof of the alleged misuse of administrative priviliges is provided, except for the accuser's experience and a banning incident earlier this month. My behaviour towards the accuser has been very aggressive and I insulted him directly several times; however, he has responded in kind and insulted me much the same way, attacking my education and skills. When I pointed out that his reasoning is invalid, explaining it thoroughly, he refrained from responding; instead he directly contacted Ausir and then opened an inquiry into my actions as an administrator, demanding that I be demoted, thinly concealing it as a "vote of confidence". The banning incident involved a Swedish national, Varenus Luckmann, and was enacted after researching his background that confirmed that he was, in fact, a devoted nazi. It was a call I made basing on my belief that no matter the circumstances, declared nazis should be barred from public sites; this reasoning based on the unwritten, but enforced policy of barring racist, sexist and otherwise hate-inclined persons from using this wiki. This decision has been reverted by a fellow admin and respected (albeit begrudgingly) by me.

No other proof is provided. My talk page and allegations of prejudice and persecution contained within are cited as representative of my actions and character. My interactions with Itachou and several other users are similarly used to paint me in a negative light. Both of these claims are baseless - I have been attacked and accused in the past, often for misinterpreted legitimate actions enforcing The Vault's rules. Likewise, my interactions with other users are misconstrued - while me and Itachou (and Ausir, and GhostAvatar, and Nitpicker and....) often have differences of opinion and sometimes the arguments become heated, we stay on friendly terms and cooperate.

To me, this forum thread is much like a similiar one made by a different user several months ago, where under the veil of "preventing conflicts" a user attempted to pass a regulation aimed to muzzle and prevent me from sharing my opinion of Fallout 3 across the Wiki. As I read the accusations levied against me, I feel that they are constructed to paint me in as negative a light as possible.

Reading the rationale further reinforces the feeling that I am to be made an example, as Lugia writes, a "reminder to administrators that they are not untouchable", that barely a month old accounts can take down anyone. This is further reinforced by the fact that I've already been punished for violating user conduct by a 72 hour long block, yet a call is made to punish me even more severely, in a manner completely disproportionate to the offence.

Last, I would also like to add that I will be away for a week starting Friday 27th, thus making me unable to defend myself until the poll ends.

That is all. I bid you a pleasant day. Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 20:37, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Stop

(Originally posted on Ausir's talk page.).

@Tag: Luckmann is allowed to have whatever political background he wants according to the policy. You both have your differences, that's that. Stop spamming these childish payback arguments in all the blogs. You spammed non-topic Nazi rants halfway through the entire LulzSec answers post.

In the blog, Luckmann never stated he was a Nazi. He didn't do anything on the blog to make a Nazism rant. You instead just had to bring it up his Nazism in the first reply from absolutely nothing. You started the argument about Luckmann, when Luckmann never did anything in his comment. It would seem, that you were looking for an argument.

"except his own"

- Luckmann

I see absolutely nothing that could trigger a Nazi rant in that post.

Drop it. This political bull has gone too far. All this is just going to make stupid polls about making what Users talk about more restrictive. Trolly Polly Olly 13:58, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

You're avoiding everything i said. You were just looking for trouble in the blog, as Luckmann never did anything in the blog before you started ranting on about it. Trolly Polly Olly 14:20, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Hi there =) An invitation

Hi Tag, how are you? This might seem a bit out of the blue, but as posted in that MCA interview which is part of the ongoing personal blog series I've been doing - interviewing everyday people about their gaming experiences - I began thinking... in the time since I've started visiting this Fallout Wiki, who is the most outspoken, passionate fan of the series that I've come across? And even though we've had our differences in opinion (as noted in our previous, and only, conversation a while back), you were very capable of expressing your point of view truthfully and with conviction. Hence, I am extending to you an invitation to take part in an interview about yourself. Now, from what I gather, you hail from Poland, study(ied?) law, draw and create various mods, serve as an admin on NMA...but what else? I am keen, as I'm sure others also are, to find out more about the 'real' Tag - if you're willing.

Please let me know if you're interested in participating. If not, it's totally okay. But if you are, we can engage in a back-and-forth via email over an unlimited time span - as much as is required to suitably 'flesh you out' =) Cheers, Willooi 08:12, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for getting back so soon! No, not boastful or modesty-free at all, most people out there are sincerely interesting (well I think so, anyway) and it'd be good to let them have a voice. Or rather, to expand on the voices they already use on the internet - to further 'humanise' them, learn their motivations, how they became 'them', what their gaming means to them, etc etc. So I guess you could call it a social experiment of sorts (and I do it especially to try and quash that negative basement-gamer stereotype the general public tends to have of us), and in your case you can be a fine representative of the Fallout community =)

But there is one thing, though: because my site is sometimes a bit erratic with European visitors, the concern is that once we're done with the Q&A it'd be disappointing if you couldn't see your own interview! Could you tell me if you can access my page? I hope so, otherwise I will happily give you the full transcript for posting on here, on NMA, or wherever else you'd like. Let me know and I can send you the first batch of questions, and thank you =) Willooi 14:36, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

That's a shame. Well I'm still happy to go through with it if you are, then post it on my blog for viewers who can see it and you can post it anywhere you want? I don't have your email, no. You can send one to mine and I'll reply? =) will [at] willooi.com Willooi 00:10, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

Look up War in a Dictionary

I did, and this is what came up on Dictionary.com.

war/wôr/

Verb: Engage in a war.

Noun: A state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state. More » Wikipedia - Dictionary.com - Answers.com - Merriam-Webster

The Kings and the NCR had armed conflict. They were both different groups. Trolly Polly Olly 06:12, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Race

It's not a propaganda term, is a fact said in dialogue of Richardson - "Because you are. Your tribe's DNA has changed since your ancestor left the vault. Unavoidable. All that background radiation you've been exposed to."

Since their DNA have changed, they are no more "normal" humans (see DNA on wikipedia if you want to know more about that), and this particularity is see especially with the transformation into mariposa super mutant - more a human is affected and therefore "no-pure", more their transformation into mariposa super mutant have a great chance of fail (making the person brutal, stupid and dumb - that why the Master looking for vault dwellers). "as the game shows", what are you talking about? All the things I mentioned come from Fallout 2. Itachou [~talk~] 13:03, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Also, I replayed Fallout 3 right now and yes, pure and non-pure human are not the same. The modified FEV of President Eden for Project Purity kill all mutated creature (including "non-pure" human), but no "pure" human (as he says himself, not those who grew up in a vault, and no the Enclave members). Itachou [~talk~] 13:47, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

According to almost every Dictionary, a War is an armed conflict between two groups. The Kings and NCR are both groups, and they both used arms against each other. Definition: War. Trolly Polly Olly 13:48, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

??? My friend it's a game, no the reality, please don't confuse the two thanks. Pure and non-pure human exist in the Fallout universe, that's all. All the arguments I have given are from games, yours is only speculation. Itachou [~talk~] 14:59, July 10, 2011 (UTC)
The Lone Wanderer is not a pure human, it's no come from a pure human and it's not an original vault dweller which his descendant from a vault. Also, please see the Eden dialogue in Fallout 3 for pure and non-pure, and the new modified FEV. Nothing to say more. Itachou [~talk~] 15:03, July 10, 2011 (UTC)
I think this point it would be best to hold off on any edits either way until this can be mediated by another admin, but not me; one who has played all the games (or at least Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout 3) in the series and is not a party to this disagreement. --Kris User Hola 15:19, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

It's a game is not an argument? I think it's a joke right? All is possible in a game, even mutated human. For ghouls, what do you think, they are human for you?

The evidence are in games by dialogues, I have nothing else to say. I don't know what you want but it's useless. I'll tell you frankly, I don't like the fact of pure and non-pure human (which refer to a painful period in our history), but these are things not to be compared to the real-life. It's just a game, I know you're Polish and you also don't like this term, but is just the way things are, pure and non-pure "really" exist in Fallout and I respect the choice made by the developers. Itachou [~talk~] 15:25, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Actual real-life science for a games? It's a joke? And for ghouls, what is your explanation? How a human can become a ghoul without deying? Have you see a ghoul in real-life? Virtual universe and real-life can't not be compared, keep this in mind. Itachou [~talk~] 17:08, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Also me =) but anyway, a discussion will take place. Well, let's move on for now, all that was really made my day, I'm tired of that. I just want to improve The Vault the best I can, not be in conflict with people, and friends. Itachou [~talk~] 17:37, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Dzień dobry Mikael ;)

Hehe, the same. I think it is typical when two real passionate about something have a debate. Also, considering the Fallout universe as my favorite, the most versatile and fascinating that I know, I sometimes tend to have a vindictive defense.

Otherwise, I saw that you recently get married (since 2-3 months), sorry for the delay but congratulations my friend =)! Have a nice day and also take care of you Mikael, do zobaczenia wkrótce. Itachou [~talk~] 13:03, July 11, 2011 (UTC)
