Taybert was the highest-ranking soldier involved in the death of Darlene Sherman. He attempted to get Darlene to hand over her deformed son Dalton Sherman, on the orders of West Tek. Refusing to give up her child, Darlene threatened Taybert with a knife, causing Sanderson to shoot Darlene when a small scuffle broke out.[1]
