Darlene Sherman was the mother of Dalton Sherman and a resident of Huntersville before the Great War.
Background[]
When the U.S. Army's 12th Mountain Division arrived to contain the town in 2076, Darlene's son, Dalton, was one of the deformed, FEV-infected children that had to be retrieved by the soldiers following West Tek's experimentation on the town. Darlene refused to give him up and threatened Sergeant Taybert with a knife, leading to her being shot and killed by a soldier after a small scuffle broke out. Corporal Gibbons was assigned to put her in a body bag.[1]
