Corporal Gibbons was a soldier in the 12th Mountain Division, deployed to contain Huntersville.
Background[]
The soldiers of the division were not equipped to deal with the horror unfolding in the remote town. When Darlene Sherman threatened Sergeant Taybert with a knife, she was shot and killed, prompting Taybert to tell Corporal Gibbons to put her in a body bag.[1]
