Wish mothman character[]

In the past, these have spawned in multiple instances in the same area in streams online. What is the spawn rate/conditions and in what ways are they actually being treated as a character in gameplay? Great Mara (talk) 05:42, 28 December 2021 (UTC)

To my knowledge, there are only exactly two instances where the non-hostile purple-eyed mothman spawns; at the end of The Path to Enlightenment event at the Landview Lighthouse, and in Point Pleasant during this new seasonal event. As for "him" being a character, he is referred to as Wise Mothman and Wise One by the Enlightened, who also mention him as a unique deity in their sacred tomes. There is also this line of dialogue with Interpreter Clarence, defining him as a singular entity:
Vault Dweller: "Wise Mothman? Holy Mothman? What's the difference?"
Interpreter Clarence: "The Wise Mothman is a single entity. Though immeasurable in power, with knowledge beyond the age of man, he is but mortal, nonetheless. The red-eyed pretenders are wild animals, seeking nothing but the same violence that their Dim followers crave. The Dim Ones believe the red-eyed animals are harbingers of the 'holy' Mothman... Some kind of otherworldly god. A false idol. They fear their mortality. They fear their insignificance. We embrace it, as the Wise One has shown us."
I totally agree with keeping the regular mothmen decapitalized, as even though the regular cultists refer to it as "Holy Mothman," it is clearly a regular creature found throughout the world on countless occasions. However, I think the Wise Mothman should be capitalized for the above-mentioned reasons. I hope this helps.
