I'm having trouble finding enclave(as seen in the picture), BoS, and Outcast variations of the Mister Gutsy, both ingame and in the G.E.C.K..

If someone would either tell me where I can find them either ingame or in the G.E.C.K.(The ones i found were unskinned), or if they even exist at all.

All of the gutsies I find have the U.S. Army skin. Even the ones for Talon Company and the Enclave. I've never seen one unskinned.--Chipgambino 03:21, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
I've seen the Outcast version, but only in random encounters. --TheREALBloodscar 12:07, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Ah, I've found out that the enclave gutsy is Broken Steel. Thanks for trying to help anyways.

There are very easy ways to kill a mister gutsy: a gatling laser, pulse grenades(duh),near by cars, missle launchers. don't use laser or plasma guns noteven the special ones they don't do much damage.

I've never seen a robot drop a weapon (90% certain on this), was this added with the expansions or is it extremely rare? And plasma weapons seem much better than projectile weapons, I can do 4 or 5 bursts in vats with the Xuanlong and not even do 25% dmg, and Paladin Cross can kill them on her own with A3-21's rifle fairly quickly. --Holy13 04:48, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

"Error" in reference[]

"The quote "Every day is a good day to die!" is most likely a variant of the quote "Today is a good day to die!" spoken by Lt. Commander Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space 9."

This quote is actually from Tasunka Witko the Native American holy man. The one in Start Trek is definately quoted from Witko. Whoever made this claim, go read some history

Hey whoever put the link to the Sentry Bot, I fixed it, your welcome.

Mister Gutsy[]

I can't put this in the actual section thanks to my internet connection but the Mister Gutsy has 25 XP to claim when you trash one.

Bugs here until confirmed by at least two other editors[]

If deactivated using the Robotics Expert perk while one is attacking, it will flash friendly for a moment, then go into it's normal "deactivation" animation; except it's two side sensors will stay in their strait out position as if it were still engaging you.

Combat Stats Removal[]

Anyone else think that the second paragraph of the Combat Stats section needs to be removed or moved to the talk page since it seems more in the line of strategy than necessary info? Raymorn 05:56, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

Eugh[]

Am I the only one who thought F3's Mister Gutsies had better voice-acting? And this goes for all robots, except the Securitrons, who seemed to have the same voice actor as the F3 Sentry Bot. YuriKaslov-M1911 small Yuri Kaslov 02:50, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

I haven't heard the new Gusty voice, but I like the new Handy voice. It actually sounds like a robot. Nitty Tok. 02:52, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that's one of the only exceptions. But in general, the robots don't sound... robotic... I mean, the Protectrons sound too human, and the gutsies don't sound like the morale-boosting, propaganda-spewing combat robot they're supposed to be. Proper plural form? (i.e. Gutsys vs. Gutsies)[]

There seems to be some disagreement in the article (and among some editors) over the way we should spell the plural form of "Mister Gutsy". I believe it should be "Gutsys" and was changing some words to be consistent. I think someone else wants it the other way, so I've stopped for now until folks can weigh in here and we can—hopefully—reach a consensus.

Hey bubba. About the spelling I thought it was right, but feel free to ask the admin just to make sure :D--Jackasaurus 17:18, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

  • It's Gutsys. GhostAvatar has convinced me with the Kennedy example. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:24, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
