Gunners?[]
I found this vehicle near Lynn Pier Parking, only a few dozen yards away from Hub City Auto Wrecking. The tank wasnt there before. It was also "accompanied" by 3 Gunners. My point is this: like the BoS seems to have access to the APC kinda vehicle, do the Gunners have access to this tank?

- I also encountered this 3 gunners and a tank just east of Park Street Station, in an alley. The problem is after I killed them, their bodies/ashes of bodies never disappear. The tank stays there forever. Maybe because I missed them the first time they spawned, now they bug out and never disappear. The alley is concealed with billboards. How would I know?
Armament?[]
This tank appears to have (dual) 15cm cannons based on my estimates of the diameter of the bore(s). If anyone can confirm or deny that, it would be greatly appreciated. AdrienRemaz (talk) 21:19, June 24, 2016 (UTC)
Random Encounter[]
The "3 gunners and a tank" random encounter do exist in the base game, without mods of course. The Fallout 4 Vault Dweller Survivor Guide (official guide) mentioned the gunners are scraping from the tank. They are not protecting a safe or something. Check the above topic people talked about encountering this. Check the history of edit of the front page you can see people talked about where they encountered this in different random location. Check the "Freeway pileup" wikia page you can see a photo of tank there, which is actually a random encounter.
So in the base game it should be 3 fixed locations + 1 random location (random encounter). With Automatron it adds 1 more fixed location. Each player will encounter this differently. The random tank seems not to disappear it gives the impression it is there originally, but it is not. You start a new game, go straight to the same place, you will know it is not there. Because it is random.
When you edit the front page you should check it first. You didn't see it in your game doesn't mean it is not there. This random encounter never get mentioned in this page and the "random encounter" page. It is just odd.
When you edit the front page you can give a generic mention of this random encounter. Or you can give specific mention where you found the random tank, but highlight it as random encounter, or else the front page will be littered with random find with random location. - I'd like to clear up the confusion. I understand your point of the random encounter being random (and therefore the tank not aways being in the same place), but when you say "When you edit the front page you should check it first", are you referring to this front page? Because if so, I cannot find any mention of a tank there.

Holotape[]
The bogged down holotape mentions armored vehicles but not a battle tank, or tank. Not sure if it is a ref to this vehicle specifically. Thoughts? -kdarrow

- Might be onto something, that tape's found at Forward Station Delta, which has an APC sunk into the mud just outside of the fence line, but no tanks. Aiden4017 (talk) 03:06, October 14, 2020 (UTC)
