Ranger Ross was an employee of the National Park Service at the ranger district office in Appalachia before the Great War.

Background[]

Ross developed an intense rivalry with Ranger Simons, who also worked in the district office, to the point where they had different sides of the office that they could not cross.[1] Ross considered himself a "caring and sensitive individual" and was deeply committed to protecting animals. He accused Simons of letting two poachers kill beavers without any punishment, claiming that they did not have the right permits. Simons pointed out that Ross was the one who had refused to sign the permits in the first place.[2] Simons also accused Ross of leaving the ranger lookout in disarray.[3] Their conflict reached a boiling point when Simons discovered that Ross stole and ate his Dandy Boy Apples, leading to a scuffle between the two rangers.[4]

Appearances[]

Ranger Ross is mentioned only in Fallout 76.
