Reginald R. Reinhold III[1] was the headmaster of Watoga High School before the Great War.

Reinhold oversaw the implementation of SMART choice machines, which allowed children to turn in candy for randomized prizes during the Halloween season, as well as a new, annual "Monster Mash" event to acquire candy. However, this system led to fights between students, who would steal each other's candy.[2] Some members of the school PTA, like Scarlett saw this akin to gambling, an "immoral" and corrupting act. If the randomization of the prizes was not removed from the machines, then they would demand Reinhold to remove them from school grounds immediately.[3]
