The office building (or Department of Research Subsidies) is a building on Washington Boulevard within Falls Church, in 2277.[1]
Background[]
The government agency General Accounting Office (GAO) housed their department of research subsidies in this building prior to the Great War of 2077. Two centuries later, the building is the scene of a skirmish between the Brotherhood of Steel and the super mutants.
Layout[]
The location is marked on the local map as "Office Building," and shares the same name as another one in the same area. The main entrance faces Washington Boulevard and a secondary entrance is located across from the children's playground. Both of these entrances lead to stairs that lead to the first floor which is accessible and populated with various offices and a restroom. In the restroom, there is a rigged shotgun.
In the offices, there are the corpses of two Brotherhood of Steel initiates and super mutants. There is also a functional terminal, which contains the last thoughts of a government worker, Elise Walton.
