Newman was a supervisor of the park who punished numerous employees, including Pat Cooper and Brandon Anderson, for frivolous reasons.[1][2] As a way to get back at him for docking their pay, Brandon planned to put stolen laxatives in the Chow Line's food, hazing Hal with bathroom duty and giving Newman an overwhelming amount of customer complaints to deal with.[3]
