The Mister Handy is a type of robot that appears in the Fallout TV series.
Background[]
The Mister Handy is a multipurpose robot developed by General Atomics International before the Great War and refined in collaboration with RobCo Industries. It was an incredibly popular model used by government agencies, private companies, and individual citizens across the United States.
The Mister Handy's voice came from English actor Sebastian Leslie, who was famous for playing a butler character named Bartholomew Codsworth. At some point before January 2077, he sold his vocal rights to RobCo for $186,000.[1]
In the TV series[]
In "The End," a Mister Handy owned by Mr. and Mrs. Spencer assists during their son Roy's birthday, where Cooper Howard performs on the day that the nuclear war breaks out. Another Mister Handy can be seen at California Crest Studios during "The Head."
Snip Snip
A medical Mister Handy model called Snip Snip appears in "The Ghouls." He was evidently the former attendant of a clinic in a Super Duper Mart. Reprogrammed to harvest organs from people for Huey and Squirrel, he nonetheless speaks very politely to his "patients." He is destroyed in the fight between the organ harvesters and the feral ghouls. In "The Trap," one of the four sheriffs scavenge the robot's fusion core.
