Background[]
Born in 2095, Mia was being taken care of by Jeremiah Ward, her grandfather. On February 2, 2096, Mia went missing at only 8 months old. It was recorded as an animal attack by the Responders, but Jeremiah doubted that they were telling the truth, citing suspicions of "bad folks" scoping out the town. Jeremiah believed that Mia was still alive somewhere, having been taken by these men, and promised to get her back. Their fate is unknown.[1][2]
