Martin Neimeyer was a senior engineer for REPCONN Aerospace at the REPCONN test site before the Great War.

Background[]

Martin worked alongside his wife Emily at the test site. Following a catastrophic experiment during a visit by RobCo Industries representatives, Project Manager Steve Reynolds forced Martin to retire, intending to blame him for the disaster.[1] In reality, Reynolds simply needed a scapegoat so that the company could save face for its buyout negotiations with RobCo.[2]

Martin, incensed that he was given the blame when Steve himself had a major role in causing the disaster, chose to accept his pension and retirement package and bid "good riddance" to the company.[3] Before he left, a retirement party was thrown for him by Gordon Pesce and his other coworkers.[4] Meanwhile, an accidentally unused terminal entry shows that his wife Emily also sought to find evidence of foul play behind his forced retirement, and gained access to several messages from Steve Reynolds which would prove just that.[5] The stolen messages themselves can be found on her employee terminal in the REPCONN facility.[6]

Appearances[]

Martin Neimeyer is mentioned only in Fallout: New Vegas.
