Jim Dunkelberger is a member of a posse or militia somewhere in the wasteland.
Background[]
Jim is part of some sort of posse or militia that set about investigating the site of the gang war between the Hounds of Hell and the Torn Sky. The firefight was actually ended by the "Death Blanky," a hoard of aggressive chipmunks, but he assumed it was ended by J. Hardy Murphy, who was left alive after the battle. It is unknown who he and his group are affiliated with, but he appears familiar to Murphy. Upon finding out Murphy's full name, he expresses sympathy by telling him his full name.[1]

Jim Dunkelberger is mentioned only in the short story "J. Hardy and the Death Blankey," published in The Armageddon Rag, Vol. 4 as part of the canceled Project V13.
