The Bell Tolls is a quest that was removed from Fallout 76.
Although structured like an event, The Bell Tolls did not actually properly function as an in-game event; rather, it took the form of a miscellaneous quest that occasionally appeared in Charleston. The Bell Tolls was disabled with the Nuka-World on Tour update, with no announced plans for its return.[1]
Quick walkthrough[]
- Head to the church to start the quest.
- Defeat the mole rat waves, loot the disturbed dirt container after each wave.
Detailed walkthrough[]
The quest started upon nearing First Friends Church, triggering a pre-recorded message by Melody Larkin. Inside the church, the player had to fight several mole rats, appearing in three waves with increasing difficulty, with the first wave being easy mole rats, the second medium and the third hard. Between each wave, a "disturbed dirt" container appeared inside the church, which could be looted for randomized rewards. After beating the last wave and looting the last container, the quest completed without additional rewards.
