Pioneer Scouts: Skyline Valley is the ongoing seventeenth season in Fallout 76. It began on June 12, 2024, with the release of the Skyline Valley update,[1] and will conclude in September 2024.[2] It was preceded by Duel with the Devil.

Behind the scenes[]
- The description of the Canoe, featured on page 1 of the season pass, is a reference to the phrase "Up shit's creek without a paddle," meaning to be in a very bad situation.
- The description of the Reaper player icon, featured on page 6 of the season pass, is a reference to the 1976 song "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by the rock band Blue Ćyster Cult.
- The description of the Icegang Mask, featured on page 6 of the season pass, is a reference to the minor faction Sudden-Death Overtime from Fallout 3, who took inspiration from hockey culture and wore hockey masks. The item itself is a recreation of the hockey mask from Fallout 3.
- The presence of the mask in a Pioneer Scouts-focused season appears to be a reference to the Friday the 13th franchise, including its central villain Jason Voorhees, who wears a hockey mask and terrorizes a summer camp.
- There are two items on page 7 of the season pass (the telegraph and Morse code poster) which feature descriptions in Morse code:
- Telegraph: "DITS AND DAHS"
- Morse code poster: "HAVE FUN"
- The description of the Roast Thrasher, featured on page 11 of the season pass, is a reference to the 2000 film American Psycho, paraphrasing a quote spoken by Patrick Bateman, from a famous scene in the film in which the bankers compare their business cards: "Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark."
