Background[]
E. Jefferson was the subject of an assault investigation by security filed by Jake, another vault resident. Jake claimed that Jefferson had shoved him with the intent to commit harm, but when Nakamura spoke to a witness, they told her that Jefferson had lightly shoved Jake aside while Jake had been laying into him about being an "ineffectual ass."
The assault claim was dropped, but no action was taken against Jake for filing a false report as the security team wished, as according to the security chief, Jake had technically been assaulted.[1]
