The Clay Riot was an event that took place in Harpers Ferry prior to the Great War.

Background[]

The event took place in Harpers Ferry on a Thursday in the early 2070s.[1] Scuffles between the Free States and the police broke into open violence, the result was a curfew declared by the mayor.[2]

Notes[]

After the curfew was lifted, Charleston Herald journalist Luke Hogan wrote an article about the murdered Antonio Childs at the Harpers Ferry Trainyard. In it, he questioned if it had a link to the Clay Riot.[1]
