Cultist blood troughs are world objects in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.
Characteristics[]
These blood troughs can be found at cultist locations such as Moth-Home. The Followers of the Winged One seem to peer into them for minutes at a time. The troughs may be loosely draped with moss, reclaimed by roots, or tightly wrapped in barbed wire.
In the Night of the Moth update, several were constructed in Point Pleasant. During the Equinox, Observer Johanna asks players to deposit blood of the albino radstag into these troughs.
Small translucent red moths seem to flutter around those found in Point Pleasant, much like creatures under the influence of a Cultist high priest. The same flitting visions emanate from the Cradle of the Pretenders, an ornate blood trough full of mothman eggs situated behind the Mothman statue.

- At the altar within the wreckage of the North Road Bridge, two blood troughs appear to be wrapped in moss which emits a pulsing red light. Nearby, vine barricades harass the Enlightened sect's pyres. Veins along these vines also pulsate with a red glow.
- At the Sacramental Glade, a blood trough has been dumped into the water.
